Shannon was born in
Houston, TX on September 5th. When she was only a few months old her
family moved to Huntsville, TX where she lived until she was a
junior in high school. Shannon graduated in 1991 from Plano Senior
High school. After high school She attended Lon Morris College and
the University of Texas in Tyler.
Shannon joined the staff as the Director of Student
Ministries at Chapelwood UMC in October of 2001. She married her
husband, Ken, at Chapelwood on August 3, 2002.
They share their home with their 4-legged
children; Mason (Great Dane), Sammy (Yellow Lab), Louie (Dalmatian),
and Valentine (Dalmatian). God has allowed them recently to become
foster / adoptive parents through a faith based organization called
The Arrow Project. Through this new adventure in their lives they have
been blessed with a baby girl, Layla.
In June of 2005 Shannon became a licensed Local Pastor in the United
Methodist Church. She am excited about what God has in store for the
church because she has seen Him move in great ways already. Ken and
Shannon
love calling Chapelwood our church home and are thankful God
called them here!
