Leslie Dalstra grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from
Kirkwood High School in Missouri. Leslie earned her bachelors degree
at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and her Masters of
Divinity at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. In
1999 Leslie was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of
Christ). She has served Methodist and Disciple’s of Christ
congregations in Missouri.
Leslie married Daniel Dalstra in July of 1997. They have two
children Eva and Harrison. About a year after the birth of their
daughter, Leslie took a leave of absence from professional ministry
to be a stay at home mom.
Leslie’s family moved to Lake Jackson when her husband Dan
accepted the position of chief photographer for The Facts in June of
2005. They have come to love this area and are proud to call
Chapelwood their church home. Leslie is excited to be working in the
church again, especially to be serving in an area that is so close
to her heart, family ministry.
